Just made a small update for my wishlist - I can't deny any more just how fond I have become of Dean from Supernatural, so I put him on. Not that I think I have much of a chance of ever getting him - but it is a wish list, isn't it?

Also updated the ideas list - after all I did apply for A taste of Blood Wine and Ivanhoe (1952).

And I would so apply for more, but I did promise myself to work on the buttons issue and re-vamping some listing with not so pretty layouts first.

2 Apps pending and General Update

No posts this year - so I thought I mention the state of things.

Currently I am working on stuff for the university. Inbetween, I am updating those listings where nobody has joined - but I am in no hurry as I did the last update 4-5 weeks ago, so I am still covered. Not to mention some listings got new members, not just those who get them regularly.

I finished the fanlisting for [url=http://atasteofbloodwine.bloody-fangs.org]A taste of Blood Wine[/url] by Freda Warrington - so I only have two other applications pending: both Blade II related. The fanlisting for Priest (my 2nd favourite Bloodpack member) and the listing for the pack itself. Could not resist. Part of me is sad that they have been removed ... hopefully some of the members will re-join. (Yeah, I guess I am pretty much counting on being approved, as they are not exactly highly popular subjects although they should be. Hell, the Bloodpack should get their own movie!)

Finally my layout block is gone ...

I had several ideas for a layout but I just could not find the right images, I thought about taking pictures for myself but I lacked the right material, a willing model and most importantly my camera is not very good.

I am quite happy with the layout, for two reasons: I used the same painting of the girl to patch up the fugly cover of my book and the it represents one of the most important scenes in the novel: The moment when Karl for the first time really notices Charlotte and what a beautiful mind she has.

Finished form was sent in today, now I just need to register at the Vampire Fanlisting Directory, make and upload the buttons ...

It took me forever, but finally I uploaded the new buttons, made not one but two new layouts and therefore enabled skins for the Ben Hur Fanlisting. I also moved the fanlisting to a subdomain on tanfana.net

All that is left to do is - register at the movie listings, fansfansfans and some very minor changes ...

I also intend to hunt for affies next year. All older movies, everything related to the time period, actors etc.

Actually, it has been ready since yesterday - but today I uploaded the buttons and set up the last few things like affiliates and some css changes. Now everything should show up properly.

But this is anyway just a temporary layout till I got either my camera fixed or was able to borrow one.

Injury and new apps

Great, so I hurt my neck and I can not sit for long at the computer - but it is getting better. However, my plans to dish out some more new buttons and make screencaps for new layouts (cause my old ones are too few to be of use) are delayed.

Troubles updates are not on hold however and two more character fanlistings have been removed that are simply irresistable. Not to mention LOST BOYS was closed. Of course I had to apply, this movie is so awesome - I am not sure what is worse, seeing the first one being removed for troubles with almost 700 members or this one just being closed.

It was about time that Dracula 2 got some attention again.

So everyone who disliked the old layout can rejoice - finally I made a new one.

I already submitted an update form at tfl, set up the link at my 404 page at tanfana.net and also applied with fansfansfans.net, the MovielistingsNetwork and the Vampire fanlistings directory.

Fans and Affiliates have been contacted.

Currently I got 5606 listed at my collective. 481 of these are donated codes for fanlistings, 39 are for my fanlistings collective and 5126 are buttons made by me for my listings.

As I got currently 121 fanlistings that makes about roughly 42 codes per fanlisting. Including the donated codes that would be about 46 codes per listing. However, currently 43 listings have no buttons, 4 have only donated buttons leaving 74 listings with buttons made by myself.

That means the current avarage of codes for listings with buttons is 69 codes, with donations that is about 72 codes per listing.

Yes, I know 43 listings without buttons - but I am working on it. But the old ones were just too fugly - I deleted them all thinking I be much faster with re-creating them. While I like making codes, at one point you just need to take a break from it.

New shiny buttons for Marcus

Marcus has now new buttons. Please excuse the bad quality but the third season has yet to be released on DVD and for now bad screencaps from a shoddy tv airing is all I have to work with.

But chances seem to be se slim. Season 2 of Poltergeist is only announced as a strange DVD-R release. Not that this does me any good. I want it but it is for US persons only - well, MGM sucks and not in a good way. :(

It was about time, the codes for both are back on as well as some additional ones.

I am still happy with the layout for Skulduggery - but the one for Stephanie needs to be replaced. I will get around to it next year - I promise.

Re-Vamp Frenzy

While I should be learning for university I found myself hindered by ongoing headache and other stuff.

For some reason I found the creative energies for two new layouts, lots of new buttons.

However, I am ashamed to say, a lot of my fanlistings are still without codes. I thought I'd be quicker with re-uploading and re-creating of codes but it takes longer. My sincerest apologies for that. But I am working on it and the new buttons will be sooo much prettier, I promise.

As far as moving the fanlistings goes - I am not even halfway though but then again I am in no hurry. This is move is just a measure to help me keep things more organised. I know link changes are a bit annoying - but I do keep a 404 page handy where people who click on the dead links will end up and they can find their way from there.

So finally Reinhardt has some decent codes. I shamefully neglected this - before he only had one code for each size and they were not that pretty to begin with.

Hopefully, I can come up with a better layout soon and then Reinhardt will move to a prettier link at bloody-fangs.org my vampire/werewolf domain.

This time I got around to Erika. she was anyway scheduled to move to bloody-fangs.org but somehow I felt like giving her a new layout as well. The last one was not that bad but I like this one more.

The layout has not changed that much - I just worked over the graphic, the colours are a bit different, new directory buttons and buttons to link back to the fanlisting.

Also this fanlisting has moved to http://vampires.lost-shadows.org

Now, I just need to but up a re-direct, update the links and e-mail members and affiliates.

Finally, I got around to give Imhotep his long deserved re-vamp.

I did like generel elements of the old graphic and might do a new version of it and then skin this site - because Iike how the new layout did come out. What else is new?

First, there is the new fanlisting title: I changed it from "Death is only the beginning" to "Cursed". When I first picked it I did not realise that the fanlisting for the movies had the same title. I think the new one fits Imhotep very well.

Also, I registered him with the fansfansfans.net and the movielistings network, gave him new better looking buttons and updated the icons a bit. They are now running over a script and if I ever do some of the other characters they will be available as well.

Last but not least: There is a new url: http://imhotep.tanfana.net/

Now, off to sending the form to TFL, as well as informing the affies and members.

I am a bad girl

I know, I promised myself I would not apply for more fanlistings till I got buttons back up for 80% of my listings - but I feel so depressed right now and I just had to apply for one of my favourite vampire romance novels. With all this medicore Twilight crap not only taking out the romance out of vampires but the bite as well, I feel like clinging on a bit to my favourite gerne.

How I long to read this book again - but it is sitting on my shelf at home. Nevermind, I will be there in less than 9 days.

Now, I try to be good girl and use this down phase to give a bit of love to my dearly beloved subjects. I am nearly done re-vamping the Imhotep fanlisting.
